I asked my wife to act the dominant role, and when she was at a
loss as to what to do I suggested she pretend she's my boss at
work.

Trouble is, I took it too seriously and phoned in sick.

Sorry for the joke. I found it amusing when I heard it and
thought it worth posting here as a way of asking my question as
this blog has been quiet of late.

Is asking my wife to role play, and then suggesting ways to do
it topping from the bottom? And if so, does that mean I'm
dominant and not submissive?

If not, then what is the best way to lead her to pleasing me
without being manipulative and demanding.
